SEO, Ji-Hyun grew up with two dogs named Kushon and Hachi. Now, she lives with Samil, a cat from the streets who looks just like Tangerine. She studied picture books at the Korea Illustration School (HILLS), and wrote and drew a picture book titled Mother's One, Two, Three that humorously captures her childhood.

Introduction

Tangerine is a stray cat. One day, he comes across a seaside village that smells unfamiliar. According to Tangerine's past experiences, humans are dangerous and he shouldn’t go near them. But the humans of this neighborhood are very strange. Whenever they see Tangerine, they make conversation, approach, greet, and smile at him. Tangerine can feel their warmth like the spring sun... Tangerine teaches both children and adults how to approach someone who needs attention and care—as well as the fact that their warmth may renew someone's will to live.
