Introduction

One can see the relationship of the countries that share the borders by looking at the type of the border they have: some countries do away with the borders, some make them easily accessible, or some build high walls around the borders to block people out. In this global community where everyone’s life is connected to others, we need to think about what borders should look like now. In this book, young readers can see different borders, and they can contemplate on their place in this world and their relationship to others.
