Introduction

A midnight treasure hunt in Getbol, the UNESCO Natural World Heritage!

Tomorrow is my mom's birthday, so I came to Haerujil with my grandmother. I'm going to prepare a nice birthday feast for my mom. I also want to give her a wonderful gift, but I haven't found one. Grandmother always tells me we can find everything we need on the beach. Can I really find my mom's birthday present?

The author wrote this book hoping that children would feel the beauty and abundance of the tidal flat. And she hoped to teach children how to live together with nature showing this traditional fishing method ‘Haerujil’.
